I recently fell in love with Pico-8 and had to make something for it. In the course of a few hours, this little brain trainer was the result.

It's a classic memory matching game where you flip cards to find pairs. Nothing groundbreaking, but sometimes the simple pleasures are the best ones. 

For me, this project was all about getting my hands dirty with Pico-8's constraints and workflow. Working within its tight limits—the tiny resolution, the 16-color palette, the sound chip—was both challenging and oddly liberating. As with my oher retro-games there's something special about crafting something complete within such a small space. Nice to see a modern framework with the same constraints

I hope you'll enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed making it. It's a quick, cozy little game that's perfect for a few minutes of brain exercise.
